This comprehensive two-week Integrated Formation Evaluation online workshop equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for effective subsurface reservoir characterization. Covering a wide range of topics, the course begins with the principles and applications of conventional logging tools, then advances into log quality control, normalization, core data integration, porosity and saturation calculations, permeability prediction (including machine learning methods), and multi-mineral modeling using ELAN software. Special focus is placed on integrating spectroscopy and core analysis to determine net pay and reservoir cutoffs. By the end of the course, participants will gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in modern formation evaluation techniques.
